Pune, August 24, 2026: A healthcare initiative undertaken during the Ashadhi Wari has received World Record recognition following an extensive service campaign that brought trained therapists together to support pilgrims across Maharashtra. Maha Arogya Wari 2026, organized by Zep Multimedia Alternative Medicine Institute under the leadership and concept of Mr. Sanjay Genu Kadu, has been recognized and declared a World Record by the London Book of World Records.
The recognition was celebrated at a special certificate distribution and felicitation ceremony held on August 24, 2026, at Maratha Chambers of Commerce, Pune. The event provided an opportunity to acknowledge the therapists and individuals whose participation contributed to the execution of the initiative.
Maha Arogya Wari 2026 was conducted between July 7 and July 26, 2026, during the period of the Ashadhi Wari. The pilgrimage attracts large numbers of Warkaris who travel towards Pandharpur, with many participants covering considerable distances on foot. The physical demands of this journey formed the backdrop for the healthcare initiative.
More than 250 trained therapists from across Maharashtra joined the campaign and provided pain-relief services at different locations along the Wari route and in Pandharpur. The initiative aimed to make therapy support available closer to the pilgrims as they continued their journey.
The campaign was organized around the principle “No Medicine • No Pills • Natural Pain-Relief Therapy.” Through this approach, participating therapists offered natural pain-relief therapy to Warkaris during the pilgrimage period.
According to the organizers, 120,354 Warkaris received pain-relief treatment as part of Maha Arogya Wari 2026. The reported scale of service delivery became a significant aspect of the initiative and was followed by its World Record recognition from the London Book of World Records.
The achievement was also an occasion to recognize the individual therapists who participated in the campaign. More than 75 therapists were selected for special felicitation during the Pune ceremony.
