Indore, Madhya Pradesh: All heroes have a legend, and at times, that legend is in the hearts of not one but two, connected by training, bravery and an unbreakable friendship. The motivating story of the founder coach Amay Lashkari, who is the founder of the Alet Sports Academy, and his son Tanveek Lashkari, who is today a national gold medalist, is a strong indication of the power of persistence, sacrifice, and the Indian sportsmanship.
A Father Struggle -Raising champions at All cost
Coach Amay Lashkari was born in the Dwarkapuri of Indore and devoted his life in empowering the young generation using sports. Having a vision of creating champions that could shine in both national and international levels, he started Alet Sports Academy where he even sold his car to finance the training of children in a highly expensive martial art of fencing.
But destiny tested him. Amay had sciatica paralysis but he still kept on guiding the students and even trained them to be coaches. But, treachery was the next thing, the same trainees whom he had trusted abused his name and rayed his academy success. Amay retired to his own creation; in preference of saving face.
He was requested to leave a young girl belonging to the Valmiki community to join a different organization where he refused staunchly by stating:
It will not benefit someone to leave his mother. I shall never part with what I made.
His ethics were unswerving, and made enemies out of his competitors — but never shaken his faith in righteousness.
A New Beginning — Rising Again
Dejected, but yet not despondent, was Amay, but his Master, Saeed Alam, restored his courage, and told him:
The light of the sun is never lost even when it is behind the clouds.
Not many days later fate sent back to him a young player, who encouraged him to return to coach at Mhow. Devaraj Khode who was one of the students was the one who convinced Amay to continue living by his strength and loyalty. So the Alet Sports Academy was born again with a new generation that was based on values, hard work, and national pride.
A Son Victims — Tanveek Lashkari Becomes a National Karate Star
Amay made sacrifices; nowadays, he is a shining star because of the victories of his pupils - and, better still, of his son, Tanveek Lashkari.
On October 1112, 2007 at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Tanveek won a gold medal in Kata event under the 21 st National Karate Championship of the State Bank of India, a landmark in his young sporting career. He also won another competition with a silver medal along with his teammates Divyansh Bhatia, Yashraj Khode, Tamanna Khode, and Surbhi Jaiswar.
Promising results and celebrating numerous wins, Alet Sports Academy members won both in various categories and among the winners, there were Mahi Dharmendra Dhru, Sakshi Lodhi, Radhika Panchole, Prateek Shrivas, Gargi Bhargav, Rohit Kaushal, Devaraj Khode, Vanshika Thakur, Shaurya Chawda or Siddharth Chauhan.
Tanveek will now represent India and Madhya Pradesh at an international level in Kathmandu continuing the legacy left by his father on an international front.

This makes me happy as a father and coach to have my son on such heights. Several years of struggle and effort has led us to this point and Tanveek playing on the international stage is the dream realized.
Alet Sports Academy -The Future of Champions
In 20, Alet Sports Academy has chosen 20 athletes to play in the national level to represent Madhya Pradesh, which will make the academy a leader in the youth sports development.

Since selling off his car to meet the cost of training, to even reconstructing his own academy following betrayal, to witness his son become a national champion, the life story of Coach Amay Lashkari is one of unparalleled commitment.
And on the dojo floors of Indore to the global gate of Kathmandu, Tanveek now continues that tradition, and is shown to demonstrate that faith, values and hard work can create miracles.
It is not merely a sporting story.
