Kolkata once again witnessed the power of independent cinema as Indranil Sarkar’s short fiction Mayajol (The Mystic Water) bagged two of the most prestigious honors—Best Director and Best Story Writer—at the recently concluded Film Frenzy Film Festival.
The poignant film explores the life of Maya, a physically challenged girl growing up in a rural backdrop.
