Surakshit Mumbai Awards 2025 Proudly Honours Paradigm Techsolutions as “Best Service Provider Team of the Year”

From Ganeshotsav to Farmers’ Meets: Ajit Pawar’s Packed Schedule in Maharashtra

Mumbai, 29 August 2025: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had a busy day, moving from Ganeshotsav celebrations to farmers’ conferences across Baramati and Pune districts.

At the Malegaon Sugar Factory in Baramati, Ganeshotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Alongside the festivities, Pawar inaugurated a sugarcane nursery established under the Sustainable Sugarcane Production Increase Committee. The initiative aims to provide farmers with high-quality, disease-free seedlings, thereby enhancing sugarcane productivity and promoting modern, sustainable farming practices.

Speaking at the event, Pawar emphasised the importance of long-term planning, saying, “Keeping the next 50 years in mind, carrying out quality developmental work is our true identity. Accelerating development across Maharashtra is our ultimate goal.”

In Indapur Taluka’s Bhavani Nagar, Pawar attended a grand Shetkari Melava (Farmers’ Meet) and Agricultural Exhibition organised by Shri Chhatrapati Cooperative Sugar Factory Ltd. The central theme of the event was the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in sugarcane farming. Pawar visited stalls, reviewed modern agricultural equipment, and guided farmers on how AI could revolutionise sugarcane production. He emphasised that the state government is prioritising water management and utilising AI-driven workshops to support farmers.

Later, in Baramati Taluka’s Kanheri, Pawar visited the Hanuman Mandir at Shri Kshetra Kanheri to seek blessings and review local development work.

He also inspected ongoing development at the Kanheri Forest Garden area. During the closing ceremony of an Adventure Sports Training Camp organised by the Adventure and Nature Club, Pawar distributed certificates to 14 trainees. He remarked that such initiatives will not only create employment opportunities for the youth but also give Baramati tourism a new direction.

Continuing his schedule, Pawar visited the Shivsrushti Historical Theme Park and offered inputs to officials. The park, dedicated to the life and times of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is set to feature replicas of the royal court, Agra Darbar, Shiv-era markets, Raigad Fort, naval arrangements, and immersive recreations of historic battles. According to Pawar, Shivsrushti will not only connect tourists with history but also inspire generations to come. Additionally, he toured the Tiranga Chowk of Babalal Kakade Neerakal Society, where he suggested improvements to the authorities.

Ganeshotsav holds a special place in Maharashtra’s cultural and spiritual life. From Baramati to Mumbai, Pune, and Vidarbha, the festival is celebrated with unmatched devotion and grandeur. For ten days, homes, temples, and massive pandals across the state resonate with prayers and festivities, echoing the universal chant — “Ganpati Bappa Morya.” It is this devotion that makes Maharashtra’s Ganeshotsav not just a state festival, but a cultural heritage celebrated across India and beyond.
