In 2017, while still in their engineering college, three friends — Keyur Rakholiya, Nirav Dhanani, and Akash Hirpara — decided to take a bold step. With no family business background, no investor backing, and barely any resources, they registered their very first company: Heaven Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd.
Their vision was clear — to be part of India’s renewable energy revolution. But starting young also meant facing skepticism. “Most people thought we were too inexperienced to run a company,” recalls Keyur. Yet, the trio turned that doubt into fuel.
The Covid Pivot: Design Excellence (2020)
When the world came to a standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of slowing down, the founders identified a new opportunity. In 2020, they launched Heaven Designs Pvt. Ltd., a solar design & engineering consultancy.
This new venture became a turning point. With accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness as their USP, Heaven Designs scaled rapidly, delivering over 1000 MW of solar project designs across India and even abroad.
Evolution into Heaven Green Energy Ltd.
As their execution business grew, Heaven Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. evolved and was rebranded as Heaven Green Energy Ltd. The company focused on rooftop and ground-mount solar EPC projects, bringing solar power to industries, homes, and institutions.

Unlike many startups chasing investors, the three founders chose a different path. They bootstrapped everything from day one— every rupee earned was reinvested.
What started in a hostel room with borrowed laptops has today become a group of companies generating ₹111+ crore turnover,employing 200+ professionals,and creating a nationwide impact in renewable energy.

By 2030, the trio aims to take Heaven Green Energy Ltd. public, expand into solar storage, inverters, hydrogen, and AI-powered energy solutions and contribute towards making India a 100% renewable energy nation.
